A KVM VPS is a whole virtual machine with root access: pick the OS, install Node, Docker, Postgres or whatever the project needs, and run it the way you would anywhere else. Hostinger's selling point is RAM per dollar. The entry KVM 1 has 4 GB, which is what keeps next build and a small database from falling over. The cost is that you are now the sysadmin.

KVM 2 is the plan I would buy: $6.99/mo on 48 months for 8 GB of RAM leaves room for an app and its database. Choose KVM 1 if it is a single app and you add swap; skip VPS entirely if you do not want to maintain a server.

Where it isn't
- You own security updates, firewall rules, database backups and whatever breaks at 2 a.m.
- No per-pull-request preview deployments out of the box, unlike Vercel-style platforms.
- The Kodee AI assistant helps with commands, but it is not a substitute for knowing what the commands do.
